HUMAN COMMUNICATION

This is the latest (#24) of my paintings in the "Human communication"-series. It is painted on untreated canvas with a mixture of gouache and acrylic. Dimensions 50x60 cm.

THE LAST AUTUMN SCULPTURE

This sculpture is made of marble from Carrara. The grey parts have a much higher hardness than the white parts. Instead of polish it I have treated it with acid to give it a rough surface. It is approximately 50 cm long. Thank you, Eva, for giving this sculpture its appropriate name "ORCA".

GAIA FOUND A NEW HOME

Among the marble sculptures that found a new home on the COTE d'AZUR was this sculpture in Red Marble from Vitrolles. The new owner gave it the name "GAIA" (The Earth Mother). I find ist a very fitting name.

NORDIC ART CIRCUIT A BIG SUCCESS

Autumn colours

The inspiration for the colours of this new painting came from the unusually vivid vineleaves this automn. I call the painting "autumn colours". It is 90 by 180 cm.

Marble from Vitrolles and Languedoc

Two new sculptures made of red marble from Vitrolles, near Marseille, and Caunes in Languedoc,France.

PIERRE DE TUF

These two sculptures, the boxer and the warrior, are made of Pierre de Tuf found on my property.

They are both approx. 50 cm high.

Sculpture garden

My sculpture garden was inaugurated on June 23,2007 at La Bastide des Grangues, St Antonin du Var, France.

Two recent sculptures

For the first sculpture I used black/green marble with white veines from Barcelonette in
the french alpes. The work does not have a title and is approximately 40 cm high.

The second sculpture was carved from white marble from Carrara and from the same place where Michelangelo took his marble for his "David". It is is white, very homogenous, marble (statuario) . I call this sculpture "les oiseaux" and the height is 45 cm.

RONDEUR

Marble from Vitrolles in southern France. Height 50 cm.

PINDOLLS

Acrylic painting 50 x 60 cm based on a computer transformation from a man to a woman in three steps.

Porgy is contemplating what to eat, mouse or dry food. Painting finished on March 2nd, 2007.
Dimension 70 x 100 cm. Acrylics on board.

Fibunacci

The name of this painting which I finished today refers to Leonardo de Pisa or "Fibunacci" who first came up with the numberseries 1,1,2,3,5,8 (next number is always the sum of the two preceding numbers). In my painting the size of the faces have these increasing square sides.

I used acrylics on canvas and the size is 50 x 60 cm.

New painting in the ARTE SCURILLA series

This painting is based on a collage of images of faces combined with my own sketches. They have then been enhanced with acrylic paint. The name of the painting is "Plagiat?" It was finished on Jan 23, 2007.

First painting of 2007

This painting was done with acrylic paint mixed with some linseed oil to create special effects.It was covered with a layer of acrylic resin for protection. I finished it on Jan 15 , 2007. The name is "Rainbow".
